Funeral services for Robert H. Darr, 96, of Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be one prior to services at the funeral home. Mr. Darr died Tuesday, August 08, 2006 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, IL. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. Mr. Darr was born April 27, 1910 in Washington, the son of George and Viola (Hanson) Carver. He married Marie Gladys Martin in January of 1937. He later married Maxine Evans January 14, 1950 in Moline, IL. She died January 09, 2006. He had worked at the former International Harvester East Moline, IL, where he retired in 1973. He had been a 32nd Degree Mason, East Moline Lodge. He enjoyed watching golf and traveling. He was a Chicago Cubs Fan. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Judy Darr of Denver, CO, Dale and Toni Darr of East Moline, IL; grandchildren, Donna Darr, Nancy Wade, Suzanne Whitaker, David Darr, Paul Goulet, and Jason Goulet; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
