Robert F. Duyck, 83, East Moline, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Private family services will be held. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Bob was born May 29, 1934 in East Moline, the son of Arthur and Romanie Duyck. He married Mary Belle Miller on October 31, 1953 in East Moline. She died September 28, 2006. He worked as a sheet metal worker for 20 years, for Johnson Sheet Metal and later retired from Case IH. Survivors include his children, Debra Nordholm, Silvis, Patricia (Steven) Sevier, Silvis, Diane (Stephen) Matheis, East Moline and Jeanne Duyck, Silvis, grandchildren, Staci (Brady) Clancy, Karen (Shawn) Scott, Gregory Nordholm, Jeffrey (Jamie) Sevier, Laurie (Josh) Evans, Joe Matheis and Kate Matheis, great grandchildren, Jacob, Jayson, Sydney, Conner, Bailey and Toby, and sister Marian (Robert) Fontenoy. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel and sister, Joan Dehon.
