Robert K. Fredrickson, 77, East Moline, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. As per his wishes, his body has been donated to Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Bob was born on February 8, 1940 in Kewanee, IL, the son of Marjorie (Tangeman) Fredrickson. He was raised by his grandparents, Leo and Leona Tangeman. Bob served in the US Navy and managed Base Officers Barber Shop in Corpus Christie, TX. He was a self employed Barber in Kewanee, and taught barbering in Rockford, IL, and at the former Lincoln Barber College in East Moline. He married Beth Ann Greene on October 14, 2000 in Moline. Survivors include his wife, children, Crystal VanWassenhove, Kewanee, Lonnie (Jill) Hostens, Moline, Mick (Tae) Fredrickson, Guthrie, OK, Victor Fredrickson, Sealy, TX, Corey Saunier, West Palm Beach, FL and Laurie (Rick) Mansfeldt, Cummings, GA, sixteen grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and special friends, Jay Ledford and Terry Durkee. He was preceded in death by his mother, son Joe and brother Larry.
