Graveside services for Robert "Bob" Frenell, 66, of Port Byron, IL, will be 10:00 am Friday at Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Frenell died Tuesday June 20, 2017, at his home. Bob was born January 18, 1951, in Moline, IL, the son of Leslie and Evelyn Downing Frenell. He married Teresa Lambert October 14, 1972, in Pleasant Valley, IA. He had worked at Ripple & Frenell, Silvis, IL. He was a true sportsman and enjoyed hunting. He adored his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to go to their sporting events. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Frenell, Port Byron; daughters, Lesley (Scott) Stirrett, Port Byron, and Jennifer Peterson, Silvis; grandchildren, Gabe, Samuel and Jake Willems, Riley Stirrett, Christian and Sarah Peterson; siblings, Gerald (Peggy) Frenell, Milan, IL, and Sherry (Gene) Ward, Moline, IL.
