Robert "Bob" Holt, 73, Moline, died Thursday, August 24, 2006 at his home. In accordance with Robert's wishes, his body will be cremated and there will be no services. Mr. Holt was born September 24, 1932 in Muscatine, IA, a son of Matthew and Mary Holt. He attended Muscatine public schools, & completed numerous other technical certifications in Iowa & Illinois. Mr. Holt had worked at GE and R.J. Reynolds in Chicago, moved to Moline and worked at McLaughlin Body Co. as a foreman, and later retired from the Moline School District. Following retirement, he established Holt's Janitorial Service, which he managed for several years. Bob enjoyed going to auctions, boating, flying, fishing, woodworking and gardening. Survivors include his loyal dog, son and daughter-in-law Bob and Traci Holt of Moline, and his sister Dorothy Holt Boswell of Alabama. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
