Funeral services for Robert "Bobby" J. Carlson, 58, of Moline, IL, will be 2 pm Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be from noon until services time at the funeral home. Mr. Carlson died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at his home.

Robert was born January 4, 1961 in Moline, IL, the son of Robert F. and Phyllis J. Seydel Carlson. Robert grew up in Heritage Addition area in Moline. He married Alan Carlson October 8, 2013, in Rock Island, IL. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25, Rock Island for many years. He enjoyed hiking, bicycling, camping and fishing. He loved his dog "Koda".

Survivors include his spouse, Alan Carlson, Moline; children, Brandie (Josh) DeClerck, Maquoketa, IA, Crystal, Ericka, and Ashley Carlson, all from the Quad Cities; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; siblings, Cindy (Jerry) Jernigan, Moline, and Sue Ann (Joe) Wolfe, Dahinda, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
