Funeral services for Robert J. Lodico, 77, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 2:00-5:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Lodico died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, IA, surrounded by his wife and children. Memorials may be made to the family. Bob was born January 16, 1932 in Moline, IL, the son of Santo and Marie (Cento) Lodico. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Vivian Martin June 4, 1971 at First Christian Church, East Moline. He had been an Advertising Salesman for The Dispatch Publishing Company, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Moline Tip Club for years. He loved to spend time with his family. He had been active in bowling leagues earlier in life and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed playing poker and cribbage. Survivors include: his wife of 38 years, Vivian Lodico of Silvis; daughters and son-in-law, Allison and Joel Ryser of Moline, Sara and Scott Schaab of Rapids City, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Corey Lodico and Amy Setchell of Madison, WI, Collin and Melinda Lodico of Moline; grandchildren, Clark Cook, Bryan Schaab, Baileigh Schaab, Alexander Ryser, Logan Ryser, Abigail Ryser, Ryan Lodico, Megan Lodico, Madison Lodico, Sophia Lodico, and Claire Lodico.
