Robert "Bob" Logsdon Sr., 89, Silvis, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the home of his grandson and best friend Brandon Logsdon. At Bob's request his body will be cremated and no services are planned. Private committal will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. If compelled, the family wishes that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Bob was born on May 29, 1931 in Moline, the son of Paul and Margaret (Smet) Logsdon. He married Joyce Gower on February 20, 1952 and together they had 3 children. Bob was a railroad officer for the former Rock Island Lines retiring after 32 years with the company. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, watching football and being with his family. Mr. Logsdon was a US Navy Veteran.

Survivors include his children, Gail Brosmer, Fresno, CA, Robert Logsdon Jr., Davenport, IA and Timothy Logsdon, Bettendorf, IA many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister, Jacqueline Boudreau , Silvis.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Patricia and the love of his life, Irma DeRammelaere.
