Funeral services for Robert W. "Mac" McEniry, 77, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Christ The King Catholic Church, Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mr. McEniry died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL. Bob was born March 1, 1938, in Moline, the son of Morris "William" and Dorothy Bartel McEniry. He served in the US Navy. He married Nancy Townsend September 8, 1956 in Moline. He worked 25 years at the Farmall Plant, Rock Island, and retired in 2001, from the Rock Island Arsenal after 20 years of service. Bob was a sports fan. He loved golfing and bowling. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and Bulls. He officiated high school basketball, football, and baseball games for many years. His greatest treasure was his family and made it a point to always attend his children and grandchildren's activities. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Nancy McEniry, Moline; daughters, Lori (Kevin) Dopler, East Moline, and Susan (Eric) Hines, Andalusia, IL; son, Richard (Peggy) McEniry, East Moline; grandchildren, Todd (Rachael) McEniry, Anne McEniry, Meghan Dopler, Lexi Hines, and Ryan Hines; great granddaughter, Cali Lam; brother, Tom McEniry, Clearlake, IA.
