Funeral services for Robert N. Noel, 73, East Moline, are 2PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, visitation is 2 hours prior to services. Bob died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at his home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice. Private family burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Bob was born, February 14, 1933 in Blackhawk County, IA, the son of Carroll and Dorothy (Simerson) Noel. He and Jimmie Stillwell blended families on December 2, 1963. He retired as a machine operator from John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline after 29 ½ years. He was a proud member of UAW local 865, enjoyed riding motorcycles, wood working and doing home improvement. He is survived by his wife Jimmie, children and spouses Mike and Nancy Noel, South English, IA, James Noel, Moline, Bruce and Cheryl Stillwell, Kansas City, KS, Robert Stillwell, Alba, MO and Crystal Stillwell, Moline, thirteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Tricia Noel, Hampton and a special sister Sandy Junis. A daughter Patricia, son, David, his parents, brothers Carroll Jr. "Jack", Ronnie, Larry, Gordon, and Stephen and sisters Nancy and Virginia preceded him in death.
