Memorial services for Robert E. Reveal Sr., 72, Moline are 11 AM Wednesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline, where Bob was a member. The family will greet friends from 10 AM until service time. Inurnment is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, where the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 299 will conduct military honors. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Mr. Reveal died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Trinity Regional Health Systems, Rock Island. Robert was born November 11, 1935 in Rock Island, the son of George and Lavella (Hoehn) Reveal. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He received an associate degree from Black Hawk College. He married Betty Lauritzson on October 29, 1988. Mr. Reveal retired as a core maker from John Deere Foundry after 34-years with the company. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and travel. Survivors include his wife Betty, children and spouses; Terri Smith of Rock Island, Barbrie Denato, East Moline, Robbie and Bruce Garrison, East Moline, Rhonda and Brian Whitcomb, East Moline, Kim Trask, Lakeland, FL, Robert and Angela Reveal Jr., Jupiter, FL, Yvonne and Jeff Miller, Orion, Debra Kallenbach, Rock Island, Teresa and Ted Coutts, Moline and Danny and Pam Whipple, Dixon, IL, twenty-two grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
