Robert E. Ryan, 77, of Silvis, formerly of East Moline, passed away Sunday July 19, 2020 at his residence. Per his request, cremation will be accorded, and no services will be held at this time. Interment will be held in Kentucky at a later date.

Memorials may be made to his family.

Bob was born January 23, 1943 in Danville, IL, a son of Robert and Catherine (Dodson) Ryan. He married Betty Cain on December 15, 1995 in Davenport. She passed away January 23, 2018. Mr. Ryan was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his children: Bobbi (John) Villanueva of Spring Branch, TX; and Beth (Jeff) Evenson of Troy, MO; stepdaughters: Chris Reddish and Karen Reddish both of East Moline; a stepson, Sam; sisters and brother-in-law Joy and Jamie Farr of CA and Diana Ryan Smith, Urbana, IL; grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew, Aaron,Jonathan, Brice, Brock, Cameron, and Olivia; great-grandchildren: Lilly Ann, Terry, Caeden, Marlie Marie, and Amelia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, stepchildren, Vickie and Mike, and a brother, Denny.
