Robert Lee "Bobby" Smith, Moline, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, after a brief illness at Trinity, Bettendorf. A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 6PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. The family will greet friends from 5PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Bobby was born October 24, 1966 in Moline, the son of Richard Lee and Marcella (Searcy) Smith. He graduated from Moline High School in 1984. Bobby had managed a Checkers restaurant, and owned a video store in Orion, IL. He was Barbara Streisand's biggest fan. Survivors include his parents Richard and Marcella, Moline, siblings, Lori (Mike) Ayers, Swedona, IL, Amee (Todd) Stetter, Colona and Ryan (Tara) Smith, Swedona, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Randy Lee Smith.
