Roberta Young was born January 10, 1930 in Wynat, IL, the daughter of Ray and Blanche Buhholtz Young. She married Guy K. Hoefle February 23, 1963 in Rock Island, IL. She had worked for the former Associates Savings & Loan, Moline, IL. Survivors include her husband Guy K. Hoefle of Rock Island; stepdaughter, Deborah J. (Jerry) Keefe of East Moline, IL; stepson, Kenneth R. Hoefle of Boquete Chiriqui, Panama, South America; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepdaughter, Cheryl Reed, grandson, Brian, sisters, Mabel, Marge, and Helen; brothers, Bud and Stan.
