Memorial services for Roberta R. Shaw, 72, East Moline, are at All Saints Episcopal Church, 2024 41st Street, Moline on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. Roberta died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to her family. Roberta Jablowicz was born January 31, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Vincent J. and Clara (Wright) Jablowicz. She married Keith Shaw on August 26, 1957 in Chicago. Roberta retired from Home Health Care in 1995 as a C.N.A. She enjoyed traveling, trips to the casino boats and grilling out in the back yard. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Survivors include her children; Duane Shaw, Cindy Shaw, Tom Hughes and Holly Carter all of East Moline, grandchildren; Timothy Hughes, James Carter Jr., Zach Carter and Shawn Shaw, sister and brother-in-law Rosalie and Donald Fry of Kirksville, MO, a nieces Linda Kendall and Kim Poskus. She is preceded in death by Keith Shaw, brother Vincent Jablowicz Jr., and a sister Patricia Kendall.
