Funeral services for Roberta M. Stehn, 80, Silvis, are 10:30 AM Saturday at Grace Baptist Church, Moline. Burial is in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Roberta died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Parkview Terrace, East Moline. A memorial fund has been established. Roberta King was born June 25, 1929 in Rock Island, the daughter of Matthew J. and Louise E (Fivey) King. She married Vernon Stehn on October 27, 1947 in Rock Island. He died September 28, 1999. She had worked as a cook at St. Anthony's, Rock Island. Roberta was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Andalusia, was a member of the Red Hat Ladies at Heartland Towers, Silvis and truly loved doing quilting and needlework. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law John and Shelva King, East Moline, two special nieces; Yolonda Lawson and Karla Dennhardt, and a special friend Larry Valladares, Silvis. She is preceded in death by her husband and a sister Harriett Allison.
