Funeral services for Robin Jacques, 62, of Taylor Ridge, IL, will be 10 am Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Mrs. Jacques passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at UnityPointe, Rock Island, IL.

Robin Robbins was born August 17, 1960, in New Ulm, Minnesota the daughter of James and Sandra (Beberg) Robbins. She married Bruce Jacques March 16, 2013, in Jamaica. Over the years Robin had worked at Friendship Farm, Niabi Zoo, Knees Florist, and lastly Mr. Eds. In her younger years she absolutely loved working at Niabi Zoo and Friendship Farm. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts. She and Bruce loved traveling in the Caribbean. She was a down home girl who loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Jacques, Taylor Ridge; daughter, Heather Hankins, Moline; step children, Nikkie (Freddy) Mata, Silvis, and Jeremy (Sarah) Jacques, Bettendorf, IA; grandchildren, Isabella, Madison, Leo, Sebastian, and Sophia; siblings, Jeff Robbins, Silvis, Holly (Jesse) Rogers, Belmont, MI, and Kim (Dave) Schooley, Moline; and her dogs and best buddies, Bailey and Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
