Robyn J. Hanna, 57, a resident of Rosewood Care Center in Moline, formerly of Carbon Cliff, passed away Friday May 10, 2019 at the Center.

Per her request she will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held later this summer. Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice. Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., in East Moline has been entrusted with her care.

She was born July 10, 1961 in Moline, a daughter of Jim and Fern (Heegan) Hanna. She graduated from United Township High School in 1979. She had previously been married to Al Meyers of Canton, IL. Robyn was a waitress at several area restaurants until finally retiring from Short Hills Country Club after 15 years, in 2009. She was a wonderful grandma who loved her family very much. Robyn was a lifelong avid Chicago Cubs fan. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in East Moline.

Survivors include her children: Kayty (Nick) Weed of Hawaii; Jordan Smithey of Pittsburg, PA, and Rachael Smithey; 4 grandchildren: Emily and Lily Weed, Arwyann and Ayvah Smithey; her sister: Marsha (Dennis) Boarts of Silvis, her brother: Chuck (Vicki) Hanna of Moline; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her big brother Markey.
