Roger D. Traman, 53, of Rock Island, IL, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. A memorial celebration will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Mary's on 2nd 832 W 2nd Street Davenport, IA. Roger was born November 5, 1963, in Wenatachee, WA, the son of Roger G. and Darlene Johnson Traman. He worked over the years at Madison Square and JR's, Rock Island, and lastly at Mary's on 2nd, Davenport. Roger had been a big supporter of the Gay Pride Movement, where he organized many fundraisers and actively volunteered for the cause. His family was precious to him. He was loved by all. Survivors include his mother, Darlene Black, Moline, IL; father, Roger Traman, Des Moines, IA; siblings, Rodney (Dana) Traman, Taylor Ridge, IL, Julie (Gary) Shafer, Moline, Steve Traman (Ida Claybrook) East Moline, IL, Robin (Lee) Thomas, Moline, and Terry Traman, Coal Valley, IL; many loving nieces and nephews; and his baby girl, "Baby" his dog.
