Ronald L. Bergman Sr., 76, of East Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at his home. As per his wishes, there will be no services.

Ron was born June 17, 1947, in Davenport, IA, the son of Marvin and Dorothy Johnson Bergman. He served in the US Marine Corp reserve. He married Kayleen Heimann July 4, 1969, in Rock Island, IL. She passed away November 5, 2019. Ron retired from Case/New Holland, East Moline, in 1998, after 32 years of service.

Ron enjoyed dancing with his wife, sitting outside watching his backyard wildlife, restoring his Crosley, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with his family. He was a diehard Packers fan to the end. He will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved him and by his four-legged companion, Fred.

Survivors include his son, Ronald (Pam) Bergman Jr., Davenport; daughter, Marjorie (Russell) Hannah, Moline; grandchildren, Zack and Lucas Bergman, and Kayleen, Ryan, and Seth Hannah; a great grandson on the way; and brother, Michael (Sharon) Brown, Moline.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and granddaughter, Angel Hannah.
