Funeral services for Ronald S. Eggenburg, 73, Moline, are 12 Noon Tuesday at First Baptist Church, East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, with military honors. Visitation is 2 hours prior to services at the church. A memorial fund has been established. Ron died Saturday, March 01, 2008 at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf. Ron was born June 13, 1934 in Mountain View, Missouri, the son of Earl and Marguerite (Wilson) Eggenburg. He married Marlys Wiele and the two of them had eight children. He married Bonnie Little Angaran on March 15, 2003 in East Moline. Ron retired as an engineering technician from Muscatine Power and Water. He loved being at the ball diamond where he coached his kids' teams and umpired for many years. He liked to work on the computer, doing puzzles, bowling, playing cards and reading. Survivors include his wife Bonnie, children and spouses Mike and Bonnie Eggenburg, Woodstown, NJ, Tami and Rick Hultquist, Muscatine, Ronda and Ron Christy, West Liberty, IA, Jeff and Kim Eggenburg, Anaheim Hills, CA, Angela Potter, Muscatine, Doug and Lori Eggenburg, Yorba Linda, CA, Dennis Eggenburg, and Steve Eggenburg, both of Las Vegas, NV, stepchildren; Tony an Marsha Angaran, Nick and Dee Angaran, Daryl and Kris Angaran, Gina and Mike Milam, and Angi and Spencer Tracy, thirteen grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister Shirley Pender, Blairstown, IA and a brother Don Eggenburg, Muscatine. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Roger and Leonard.
