Roger R. Remour, 66, Hillsdale, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Genesis East, Davenport. Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Private committal will take place at a later date. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Roger was born on October 18, 1951 in Moline, the son of Rolland and Angie (Moore) Remour. He married his best friend, Sharon K. Belman on April 20, 1974 in Silvis. He retired as a maintenance tech from Quest. He enjoyed building model cars, gardening and playing the guitar. His greatest joy was his granddaughters, especially taking them for tractor rides searching for trolls. Roger was a Redskins, Penguins and Dodgers Fan. Roger and Sharon loved taking road trips and were nearly inseparable. Survivors include his wife Sharon, children, Gretchen (Tim) Gitchel, East Moline, Renee Remour, Seattle, WA and Rory Remour, Hillsdale, granddaughters, Macy and Maya Gitchel and his brother Vern Remour, Bettendorf. He was preceded in death by his parents.
