Funeral services for Ronald J. St. John, 65, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:00 PM. Mr. St. John died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Genesis, Silvis, IL.

Ron was born May 18, 1953, in Moline, IL, the son of Murrel and Lorraine Smith St. John. He married Diane Clark, May 12, 1972 at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Ron had worked at the East Moline Correctional Center and retired from Collier County Sheriff's Office, Naples, FL. He was active with the Knights of Columbus, in the 4th Degree, where he was also member of the Color Guard. He volunteered for the Apache Junction Rangers and the Boys & Girls Club, Superstition Mountain Branch, Apache Junction, AZ.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Diane St. John, East Moline; sons, Russell (Christine) St. John, Apache Junction, and Ryan (Shannon) St. John, Mt. Holly, NC; grandchildren, Kyle, Spencer, Hunter, Serena, Adian, Dominic, and Savannah; brothers, Dr. Kenneth (Sandy) St. John, Clearwater, FL, and Dr. Steven (Deedee) St. John, Port Richey, FL; nieces and nephews, Laura, Hollis, Chelsea, Natalie, Emma, William, Dan and Barbie; mother-in-law, Darlene Clark, Moline; brother-in-law, Steve (Kimberley Vellenga) Clark, Moline.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Robert Clark.

Memorials may be made to St. Anne Centennial Fund or the Boys & Girls Club, Superstition Mountain Branch, Apache Junction.
