Rosendo M. Terronez, 67, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Unity Point Trinity, Bettendorf. Funeral services are 10 AM Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 2-5 PM Sunday October 29, 2017 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, with a rosary recited at 1PM. Memorials may be made to the family. Rosendo was born on January 11, 1950 in Moline, the son of Rosendo and Cecelia (Gamino) Terronez. He received his Masters Degree from St. Xavier in Chicago. He married Gloria Carranza on December 30, 1978 in Texas. He taught at John Deere Middle School and UTHS. He was known for his photography for weddings, quinceañeras, and had done photo exhibits for Hero Street and Silvis' history. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, loved to cook feasts, and was a dedicated member of the YMCA. He was passionate about genealogy and helped with the Terronez family reunions. Survivors include his wife, Gloria, children, Bonnie (Pete) Olea, Elisa (Moye) Lopez, both of Colorado, Yolanda Terronez (Terance Mendoza) Moline and Rosendo Terronez Jr., Moline, eight grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren his mother Cecelia Terronez, Silvis, and siblings, Celia Johnson, AL, Olivia Terronez, Moline, Celestine Terronez, Rock Island, Lydia (Wade) Malcolm, Rockford, Lillian (Cevin) Skelton, Rockford, Raymond (Victoria) Terronez, East Moline and Seferino (Regina) Terronez, Moline. He was preceded in death by his father on October 30, 2007
