Funeral services for Roy E. Ader, 86, East Moline, are 11:30 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Mr. Ader died Monday October 3, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island. A memorial fund has been established. He was born February 25, 1919 in Canada, the son of Jacob A. and Bessie Mae (Smith) Ader. He married Virginia Johnson, January 15, 1955 in Silvis, IL. Roy retired as an Inspector from John Deere after 35 years. Roy was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Virginia, daughters and son-in-law Stacey and Michael Higham, Taos, NM, Sherry Johnson, Conneaut Ohio, and Cynda Lowe, Hartville, MO, seven grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
