Ruben A. Guerrero, 68, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Trinity Rock Island. Visitation is 10 AM until 12 noon, Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Funeral services will follow at 12:30PM at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Private entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church or a charity of choice. Ruben was born September 25, 1944 in East Moline, IL, the son of Arnulfo and Joanna Amesquita Guerrero. He had worked in Advertising for the former Eagles for 28 years, and later as a courier for Metrobank, East Moline. Ruben enjoyed gardening, photography, cooking, decorating and music. He was a good brother and friend and enjoyed get-togethers. He was a Chicago Bear's Fan. Survivors include sisters, Mary Ashcraft, Geneseo, IL, Delores "Dee" (Frank) Ziegler, Hampton, IL; brothers, Albert Guerrero, East Moline, and Arnold "Sarge" Guerrero, East Moline; good friends, Anita and Nebojsa, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Lucy, Cora, and Carmen, brother, Paul. The family would like to thank the nurses and hospice for their care.
