Ruby M. Brown, 95, Moline, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Funeral services are 11 AM Friday at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation is from 10 AM until services. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Ruby Ketchum was born May 5, 1922 in Augusta, IL, the daughter of Jacob and Naomi (Moss) Ketchum. She married Harold V. Brown on September 6, 1941 in Missouri. He died September 14, 2001. Ruby worked at Servus Rubber in her early years. She and her husband were long time member of Salem Lutheran Church and were part of the Evergreens. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and loved her flowers. She enjoyed playing bingo and her grandchildren were her world.

Survivors include her children, Marianne (Stan) Moore, East Moline and Ray (Ursula) Brown, Summerville, SC, six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and sisters, Alma Thompson, KS and Noma Gilbert, NY.
