Ruby G. Mickle, 82 of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Private graveside services will be held at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Ruby McCune was born March 14, 1923 in Kedron, IL, the daughter of Matthew and Hilda (Lindboom) McCune. She married Harold E. Mickle, October 26, 1946 in Silvis, IL. He died in 1997. She is a graduate of UTHS. She had worked as a secretary for several years. She later worked as a salesperson for Sears, where she retired in 1984. She enjoyed playing cards, going out to eat with her friends, watching soap operas and her pets. Survivors include a son: Greg S. Mickle at home; 2 sisters-in-law, several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Bruce G.
