Rudolf DeCauwer, 77, East Moline, died October 8, 2011 while vacationing in Belgium. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 until 4 PM Friday, October 21, 2011. Private committal will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Rudy was born on July 2, 1934 in Belgium. He retired as a union carpenter. He married Darline Rakestraw in November of 1976. Rudolf was a very skilled carpenter. Survivors include his wife Darline, her children; Linda Schmidt, Moline, Vickie Allen, Lansing, MI, Brenda Wood, East Moline, Steve Ream, Milan, Andy Ream, Maysville, KY, Karen LaCast, Hawthorne, NJ, and Patrick Ream, Wentzville, MO, 27 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
