Russell W. "Mr. Clean" Higham, 62, of Geneseo, IL, formerly of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He was born June 24, 1955, in Galesburg, IL, the son of George and Geraldine Hunter Higham. He was a graduate of United Township High School. He worked for Sentry Pool, Moline, IL. Russ was a gentle giant who loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a car enthusiast, who enjoyed going to car shows and showing off his dad's 1978 award wining Lincoln Continental. He also enjoyed gambling and playing cards with "the boys". He had many tattoos, including a car show back piece with his Lincoln Continental and many other cars. Russ had a special place in his heart for Maddison and Maximus. Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Higham, sisters, Peggy (Ken) Saller, Merritt Island, FL, Mary (Darrell) Bemrich, East Moline; brother, Michael (Stacey) Higham, Canon City, CO, and Pat (Pam) Higham, East Moline; special friends, Megan Dean and Jon Parmentier (children, Maddison and Maximus Parmentier), Geneseo, Steve and Vickey Shutt, Port Byron, IL, and Duane (Brenda) Block, Moline.
