Russell S. Hoffman Jr., 43, Moline, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Kindred Specialty Hospital, Sycamore, IL. Funeral services are 11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 9 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Russell was born on March 1, 1973 in Moline, the son of Russell H. and Pauline (Bowling) Hoffman. He graduated from Moline High School where he excelled in sports. He worked in maintenance, locally. Russ liked classic cars, and loved his dog, Sebastian. Survivors include his son Russell A. Hoffman, Coal Valley, father, Russell H. Hoffman Sr., brothers; Paul (Tracy) Hoffman, and Clint (Theresa) Hoffman, both of Moline and nieces Ashley and Haley. He was preceded in death by his mother.
