Ruth M. Machu, 93, formerly of East Moline, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Roseville Rehab and Health Care, Roseville, IL. Visitation is from 2-3PM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Services will be 3:30 PM Tuesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens Chapel, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Roseville Rehab and Health Care. Ruth McIntyre was born November 3, 1922 in Little York, Illinois, the daughter of Russell and Marie (Cook) McIntyre. She married Frank Machu Jr., on July 13, 1946 in East Moline. He died June 4, 1992. Ruth had worked at Versluys' Lumber Co., and as a clerk at the Rock Island County Courthouse. Mrs. Machu enjoyed doing puzzles and loved her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her siblings, Floyd McIntyre, Roseville, Ilene Hummel Knoxville, IL, Dean McIntyre, Las Vegas, NV, B. Kay McIntyre, Aurora, CO, Donald, Monmouth, IL, David McIntyre, Roseville and Duane McIntyre, Roseville, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Ted, Charles, Dorothy and Helen.
