Ruth Ann Welch, 80, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family to be determined at a later date.

Ruth Ann Damm was born May 29, 1938 in Rock Island, the daughter of Harold and Grace (Arnold) Damm. She married Donald A. Welch on November 26, 1955 in East Moline. He died in 2006. Ruth co-managed Summit Ridge Condominium, East Moline.

Survivors include her children; Dale (Penny) Welch, Colona, Kerri (Philip) Pancrazio, Silvis and Diane Nelson, Eldridge, grandchildren; Matthew (Beth) Andrea, Valerie (Ryan) and David (Chelsea), great-grandchildren; Eli, Emily and Josephine, and siblings; Raymond (Marilyn) Damm, Silvis, Kay Chase, Moline, Neal (Barb) Damm, Davenport, and Tim (Sandy) Damm, East Moline, in-laws; Kenneth Haynie, East Moline and Joyce Damm, with whom she shared a special bond, and life long friend, Char Murphy.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jean Haynie and Gary Damm.
