Ryan C. Hitchcock, 51, of Davenport, IA, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Davenport.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Ryan was born December 12, 1971 in Moline, IL, a son of Allen and Linda Morehart Hitchcock.

Ryan loved Jesus and was a strong advocate of the Kingdom. He was silly at times, non-sensical, passionate, profound and unconditionally generous. He loved music and video games. Ryan recently got into cigars and was a member at the Drawing Room in Davenport. He recently purchased a set of golf clubs and dressed the game better than he played it.

Ryan was currently employed in the IT department at Arconic as a Deskside Technician.

Surviving are his mother, Linda (Pat) Feliksiak, Moline, IL; father, Allen (Davalee) Hitchcock, Murphy, North Carolina; half-brother Doug (Erin) Hitchcock, Coal City, IL; uncle, Scott (Jody Collins) Morehart, Rock Island, IL; niece and nephews, Abagale, Finn and Evan; cousin, Amy Morehart Anderson, Rock Island, IL and her children, Emily, Isaac, Ellie, Abbie, Annabelle and Blake; cousin, Nathan (Sarah) Morehart, Rock Island, IL and their children, Fisher, Elodie, Imogen and Davis; and cousin, Chris Creekmore, Moline, IL and her children, Carey, Kainu and Terry Fitch.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents and cousin, Chris' son, Cody Fitch.
