Ryan M. Owens, 32, of Silvis, passed away Wednesday March 29, 2017 at his residence. We will celebrate Ryan's life on Monday April 3, 2017 from 5-7PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd. In East Moline. Cremation Rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his father, Donald Owens. Ryan was born April 18, 1984 in San Diego, CA son of Don Owens and Anne (Dyer) Larrison. He had attended United Township High School in East Moline. He worked at various jobs in the area as a laborer. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Ava, and with family and friends. Ryan was a avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He especially loved fishing and camping. He also enjoyed music, and playing his guitar. Ryan is survived by: his daughter, Ava, sister: Sara (Jesse) Eder of Gulfport, MS; step-sister: Misty (Todd Replogle) Larrison of Milan; his mother: Anne (Dyer) Larrison (Bob); his father: Don (Lisa) Owens of VA; paternal grandmother: Bonnie Owens of FL; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and a uncle.
