Funeral services for Ryan Michael Polchow, 30, of Rock Island, are Monday 11AM at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Cemetery in Silvis. Visitation is 2-4PM Sunday. Ryan died peacefully at his home on Thursday September 14, 2006. He was born April 28, 1976 in Silvis, the son of Diane (Sowers) and Michael Polchow. Ryan graduated from Temple Christian High School in 1993. He attended Black Hawk College in Moline and was an honor student. He worked for eight years as a manager at Godfathers Pizza. He loved music, playing his guitar and going camping. He especially loved spending time with his two nieces and his dog "Tucker". Ryan is survived by his parents; Diane and Mike of Rock Island, sister and brother-in-law Heather and Doug Anderson, Coal Valley, nieces Emma and Maddie Anderson, and grandparents George and Lesta Sower of Navoo. His grandparents Shirley and Wilbur Horn preceded him in death.
