Funeral services for Samuel M. "Sam" Knobloch, 25, of Janesville, WI, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00 am Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 3:00-7:00 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2:00 pm. Sam died Saturday, March 5, 2016, in Janesville. Sam was born March 16, 1990, in Silvis, IL, the son of Mark and Debra Jennings Knobloch. He was a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Whitewater Class of 2014. He was currently working for Zoro Tools, Janesville. Sam was engaged to be married August 6, 2016 to his fiancee, Angela Zarnowski. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan and the family invites everyone to wear their Green Bay Packer attire to the visitation. Sam was an animal lover. Survivors include his parents, Mark and Deb Knobloch, East Moline; brothers, Jacob Knobloch, East Moline, Lucas Knobloch, East Moline, and Zachary Knobloch (fiancee, Samantha Vrabel), Gurnee, IL; grandparents, Eugene and Lola Jennings, East Moline; fiancee, Angela Zarnowski, Janesville; her parents, Al and Judy Zarnowski; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his dog "Lambeau", and his cats, "Winston" and "Gandalf". He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ann Knobloch, and aunt, Jean Jennings. Memorials may be made to Quad Cities Missing Persons Network or the United Township High School Swim Team.
