Funeral services for Sandra "Sandi" Jean Freymann Bentley, 69, of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00PM Monday at Christ The King Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 5:00PM. Mrs. Bentley died unexpectedly after a brief illness Friday, November 19, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, IL. Sandi Freymann was born May 3, 1941 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Edward and Patricia McMillin Freymann. She went to United Township High School class of '59. She had been a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Moline until its closing in 2008. She then attended Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Sandi was a loving mother and grandmother who was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She frequently took them to local parks, museums, and movies, providing them with cherished memories. She enjoyed attending their many soccer, baseball, and football games. Survivors include; daughters, Carri (Mike) Ortiz, East Moline, Lynette (Bruce) Phillipson, Geneseo, IL; sons, Mike (Sue) VandeWiele, Colona, Greg VandeWiele, Dunwoody, GA; grandchildren, Kristy, Katey, Adam, Alex, Emily, Paige, Mike, Brandon, Maura, and Cameron; brothers, Rick (Jeri) Freymann, Moline, Tom (Abbey) Freymann, East Moline; special helper, Brandon Van Herzeele, East Moline. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Mary Ann.
