Funeral services for Sandra K. Carter, 61, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Friday at the funeral home. Sandy died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport, IA. Memorials may be made to the family. Sandra Roady was born June 15, 1948 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Howard and Gladys (Johnson) Roady. She married Rolan Carter in 1970 in Rock Island, IL. She was currently working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Davenport, IA. She loved her cats, singing karaoke, traveling, reading, and attending Good News Baptist Church, Galesburg, IL Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law. Jill and Ken Adkins, Moline, IL, Jamie and James Wyatt of East Moline; son, Denis Carter of East Moline; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, sister Janet Roady of Alton, IL, and brothers; Howard "Bud" (Lela) Roady, Alton Stephen Roady of Granite City, IL, David (Patricia) Roady, Pickfield, IL and Vincent Roady of Alton. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Karen Roady, fiancé, Jerry Totten.
