Sandra R. Duncan, 79, Colona, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at New Perspective, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Rock Island County Animal Shelter.

Sandra was born on November 3, 1938 in Moline, the daughter of Raymond and Wanda (Smith) Gray. She married Jack Duncan on May 22, 1954. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1995. She and her husband loved riding Harley Davidson's and attending motorcycle events. She worked as a custodian at UTHS for 31 years. Sandra was a people person, who loved the outdoors and animals. She found joy in helping others.

Survivors include her children, Deb Anderson, Milan and Jerald Duncan (Kris Howard), grandchildren Brooke Anderson, Todd Anderson, and Whitney (Jon) Granet and Briley and Connor Koberlien who were like her grandchildren, great grandchildren, Georgia, Miles, Cora, Hattie and Eli and her sister Sheri Elliott.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy, grandson Brent and nephew Troy.
