Sandra K. Atkins, 66, of East Moline, passed away peacefully Tuesday April 30, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 4, 2024 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorials Gardens. Memorials may be left to the family.

Sandra was born on April 27, 1958 in Moline, the daughter of Harold and Patty (Trimble) Sharp. She graduated from United Township High School and later married Daniel R. Atkins on September 17, 1988.

She had been employed as a office manager and dispatcher at local businesses.

Sandra loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed lounging by her pool and working around the house.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Atkins; sons and daughters in law, Walker (Holly), David (Shannon), Daniel (Daniela); grandchildren, Angelina, Logan, Kale, Cohen "Bob", Morgan, Jon and Oliver; siblings, Linda Lopez, James Sharp, Kathy Herman; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Patty; brothers, Jim Sharp and Thomas Sharp.
