Funeral services for Scott E. Erickson, 35, of Colona, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Erickson died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Scott was born June 29, 1974 in Silvis, IL, the son of Christopher and Dawn Covault Erickson. He had been a subcontractor for various construction companies in the Quad Cities. He had been a Dallas Cowboys Fan. Scott loved the outdoors. He enjoyed golfing, baseball, camping and fishing. Survivors include his son, Tyler Erickson of Moline, IL; mother and stepfather, Dawn and Keith Stombaugh of Colona; father, Chris Erickson of Nashville, TN; grandparents, Wayne and Carolyn Covault of Elizabethtown, KY, Ruby Erickson of Atlanta, GA, Mary and Donald Jacobson of East Moline, sister and brother-in-law, Dana and Rick Armstrong of Silvis; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Crystal Erickson of Colona, David and Julie Stombaugh of Davenport, IA, nieces, Torie and Eva; nephews, Dallas and Brandon; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend, Fonda Jackson of Colona.
