Funeral services for Severina M. Ybarra, 86, East Moline, are 9 AM Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Visitation is 4-8 PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 7PM. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church or for Masses. Mrs. Ybarra died Monday, September 5, 2005 surrounded by her family at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island, after a brief illness. Severina Garcia was born February 21, 1919 in Silvis, the daughter of Lorenzo and Antonia (Gonzalez) Garcia. She married Joseph Ybarra, June 13, 1942 in Silvis. Her faith in God and caring for her family were her greatest joys. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Joe, children and spouses Stephanie (Robert) McGriff, Moline, Elizabeth Ybarra, Downers Grove, IL, Mary (Larry) Wiemers, East Moline, Mary Ann Ybarra, Silvis, Corinne (Richard) Lineback, Iowa City, Joseph D. (Katherine) Ybarra, East Moline, Lawrence (Patricia) Ybarra, Buffalo Grove, IL, and Anthony (Laura) Ybarra, East Moline, grandchildren; Heather McGriff, Lisa Pic, Chad Ybarra, Anthony Ybarra, Rob Lineback, Kristen Lineback, Jeffrey Ybarra, Christopher Ybarra, Stephanie Ybarra, Stacey Briggs, Kathryn Ybarra, Sarah Ybarra and Steven Ybarra, a great granddaughter Hailey Briggs and sisters Marcus Ruiz, and Ramona Sandoval, both of East Moline.
