Graveside services for Shannon J. Kubec, 36, of Carbon Cliff, IL, will be 9:30 AM Saturday at Carbon Cliff Cemetery, Carbon Cliff. Visitation will be from 8:00-9:00AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mr. Kubec died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Shannon was born November 22, 1972 in Moline, IL, the son of Jim and Constance Smith Kubec. Survivors include his father, Jim Kubec of Carbon Cliff; sisters, Brenda (Jon) Sturm, Prague, OK, Marla (Ian) Klein, Galva, IL; brother, Jim Kubec, Rock Island; special friend, Marideth DeSalvo, Davenport, IA.
