Funeral services for Sharon Carton, 81, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Silvis, IL, will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 14th, 2018, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Mrs. Carton died Sunday, August 5, 2018, at The Groves Assisted Living, Plum Tree Home, Tucson, AZ.

Sharon Frederick was born February 21, 1937, in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Curio Veryzer. She married Richard Carton October 26, 1957, in East Moline, IL. Sharon had worked as a cook for local restaurants in the Quad City Area and was a homemaker for her family.

Survivors include her children Steven (Pam) Carton, Moline, IL, David (Danya) Carton, Silvis, IL, Suzanne (Martin) Lipfert, Littleton, CO, Ronald (Leslie) Carton, Tucson, AZ; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Geri Spahr, Davenport, IA, and Lucia (Robert) Bertram, Silvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
