Funeral services for Sharon A. Gapinski, 54, Moline, are 10 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private family committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday (today) at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Sharon died Monday, January 15, 2007 at her home. She was born August 30, 1952 in Moline, the daughter of Roy and Margaret (Peterson) Stottler. She married John Krogman and together they had a son Nate Krogman. She later married Doug Gapinski. Sharon graduated from the Villa De Chantal, Rock Island. She became a nurse and worked at several area nursing homes. Sharon enjoyed listening to music, reading and animals. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Nate and Mary Krogman, Mundelein, IL, granddaughter Alyson, her mother and stepfather; Margaret and Terry Dehls, East Moline, father and stepmother; Roy and Jane Stottler, Colona, sisters Kathleen Stumphy, Moline and Virginia Dreifurst, Des Moines, a brother Kenneth Stottler, Henderson Nevada, and special niece and nephew Amy Garcia and Edward Krogman.
