Sharon S. Coronell, 86, of Rock Island, formerly of East Moline, passed away Wednesday November 8, 2023 at Generations, Rock Island.

A memorial visitation and celebration of Sharon's life will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, November 13, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Sharon was born May 6, 1937, in Canton, Illinois, a daughter of Harry and Elsie Kirkpatrick Gibson. She married Jesse Coronell, Jr. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2008.

She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching the birds.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Nancy Coronell, East Moline, Dr. Daniel Coronell, Indianapolis, IN, Clinton Coronell (fiancee, Cara Cashman), Silvis, and Jessica Wright, Union Grove, WI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Larry, Garry, Frank and Jesse Coronell; and her brothers and sisters.
