Sharon Renee Hughes, 49, Davenport, passed away on November 30, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, Davenport. Funeral services are 11 AM Friday at New Life Apostolic Church of God, 218 35th Ave. East Moline. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is from 9AM until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the family. Sharon Anderson was born February 12, 1964 in Rock Island, the daughter of Morell and Eliza Anderson. She married Willis James Hughes III on June 3, 2011 in Davenport. Sharon managed a local restaurant. She loved to cook, entertain and host get-togethers. She had a kind heart and would light up a room with her smile. She was a hard worker, had great respect for others, and enjoyed photography. Survivors include her husband Willis; children, Moses Woods (Simone), Davenport, McFerry Tolbert, Davenport, Marcus Anderson, South Carolina, Keevin (Jenny) Hanes, Davenport; several grandchildren; her mother, Eliza Anderson, North Carolina; her father, Morell Anderson, Rock Island; siblings, Rodney (Betty) Anderson, South Carolina, Lisa (Troy) Ball, South Carolina, Melissa Anderson, North Carolina and Desiree (Dontae) Anderson-Fennel, Indianapolis, IN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
