Sharon L. Kays, 87, of Milan, IL, passed away Thursday July 7, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. To 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline or to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Milan.

Sharon was born May 9, 1935 in Moline, IL, a daughter of Albert and Vera Mickle Tisdale. She married Walter C. Kays, Jr. on December 18, 1965 in Galesburg, IL. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2006.

Sharon was a secretary at John Deere Harvester Works for 23 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline.

She enjoyed reading, Sudoku, computer games, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. In earlier years, she enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband and family.

Surviving are her daughters, Lori (Mike) Spray, Taylor Ridge, IL, Kelly (Mike) Ragona, Bettendorf, IA, Karen (Doug) Lanzen, Port Byron, IL, and Becky Kays, Moline, IL; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Susan Carey, Milan and Lynne Fletcher, Moline, IL; brother, Larry Tisdale, Sr., Alpha, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kevin Lothridge; and siblings, Shirley Eaton, Sally Riddell, Linda Tisdale, Robert Tisdale and David Tisdale.
