Graveside services for Sharon J. Murphy, 76, of Spring Hill, TN, formerly of Moline, IL will be 11 am Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline.  Visitation will be 4-7 pm Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Mrs Murphy passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Spring Hill.

Sharon was born December 3, 1945, in Ottumwa, IA, the daughter of John and Marcella (Callas) Carter. She married Charles "Bob" Murphy July 2, 1961, in Ottumwa. He passed away April 30, 2021. She worked at the former Randall Foods and retired from Jewel/Osco as a meat wrapper. Sharon was a people person. She enjoyed bowling, taking family trips, listening to live music, going to casinos and playing cards with her sister. She loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Christine Murphy, Douglas Murphy, Amy (David) Lapaczonek: 7 grandchildren; and siblings, Jack Callas, Mike Callas, Johnny Callas and Dixie Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Katherine "Kat" Murphy; and brothers, Jerry and Ronald Callas.
